A cheeky post this, but I do love a good comparison. A friend told me of a conversation he overhead when at the Roads and Transport Authority, of a car owner being asked if he wanted to buy a new Dubai car plate. He responded by saying, ‘why would pay extra for a Baskin Robbins plate?’

Interesting… and I can see the parallels especially the colour. You would think Dubai would fit better with Black and Gold maybe instead of blue and pink., Although, I think the Dubai logo does fit better linking English and Arabic. I like that.
When did they develop this logo and for what? Tourism, or just better standout on number plates? Also, are tehy using the logo anywhere else?
