I was in Qatar for 1 day a couple of year’s ago. Went into the desert in a 4×4, did some dune bashing, had a BBQ in a camp, the best day of my life 🙂
One of my dreams is to go back & stay the night in the desert! Another is to fly in a balloon over Luxor, that must be incredible…
Thanks for your comments Kali. There are countless sights in the Middle East that would leave anyone breathless. Wadi Rum is one of my favourites, along with Petra (which is also in Jordan), Lebanon’s Baalbek temple, the crossing into the West Bank through the Jordan Valley and he view of Jerusalem’s Old City from the Mount of Olives. I do you get to experience some of our treasures soon…
